There is a first for everything...
On Saturday I mowed the lawn, front and back! I had never before mowed a lawn in my whole 26 years of life. I was surprised by how easy it was. Who knew? I thought I wasn't even going to be able to start it. I think this is a big accomplishment for me because I figured I would just let Matt do it forever. But now I know I can help with outside work and that makes me feel good especially because he helps me so much with the inside stuff!

Go Em! I used to mow the lawn all the time growing up.. I HATE IT! So good for you for being willing to do it! Bryan, thank goodness, LOVES doing yard work and doesn't think I should have to do it. WHEW!
I thought you were posting how you are in the RS presidency. Sorry if anyone sees this and I'm telling them!! But I saw your lawn today and thought it looked nice and was just cut!! Oh and by the way I stopped by your house week and you were not there. I totally forgot that I have your bowl from activity days. Oh and that means that you probably wont be in activity days. Which might be problems with me cause I have KK's dance class then. Anyways.... Good job on the lawn
That's awesome!! good for you!! I always wanted to do the lawn cause I had five bros who got to do it and I got stuck with all the yucky chores like toilets!!! ew!! So that manly stuff I love doing... its kinda empowering huh?

WOO HOO! You are such an inspiration. Christian was going to do it today before we could leave for the ward family campout so I decided to hop up and do it after he left for work so we can leave earlier and get the cabin next to you guys (so we can play games until 2am with you!!). Thanks for posting your accomplishment. It gave me the guts to get out and try it. For the rest of the story you can read my blog. :P

All I can say is You GO Girl! I actually don't mind mowing the lawn but Ryan has to get it started for me...I've got weak arms.:)
