My new love

I started sewing a couple months ago and I have grown to love it!  In Jr. High I took shop because I never had a desire to learn how to use a sewing machine.  My mom used one quite often but I think I thought it was dumb or something so I never asked her to teach me.  Now I wish I would have learned earlier to save her a lot of stress, (she made my prom dresses) and so that I would now be good at it.  I'll have to admit I am proud of myself.  And I'm getting better!  Wish I had more time for it, it has become addicting.

Here is my latest accomplishment....

And this is what my next one will look like....

Check out my little shop at www.ellamacy.etsy.com .
I will be adding new things also.  Just have to find the time!!!

Yay! You're so talented. I'm jealous. And, if I had a little girl, I would totally buy those shoes. They're so cute!

Cool sewing projects! I think for me 90% of the time sewing can be theraputic, but the other 10% I want to strap a bomb to the sucker and let her fly. You have some sweet babies and we should talk about how the weddings we did went at the next meeting - have a great week!

Those are too cute. I can't believe you made that. Too bad I don't need a diaper bag. I'll have to go and check out your shop. Good job!!!
