Okay so last week I took Macy in for an upper GI to see what could be going wrong with her because she throws up like pretty much everything she eats and they told me she had malrotation of the intestinal tract and that we had to see a surgeon. (I put the picture just cause she is so cute in her dress.) Today we went to see the surgeon and she's like "I'm going to try to get her in for surgery this weekend because this is something we don't want to wait on" so I'm thinking you have to be kidding me! I'm not ready! And then I get to where I am ready because the sooner the better and we can get on with our lives and Macy can feel better! Well, after looking at the images of the upper GI the surgeon calls me and lets me know that it's not malrotation and that it's something else called a redundant duodenum which is not an urgent matter but will still have to be taken care of eventually. I kind of feel like I'm on a rollercoaster but a pretty crappy shaky wooden one that's about to fall apart. I am happy though that it's not as serious as it could have been. It is just a lot mentally do deal with in one day. My sweet little Macy....

Oh Em...I TOTALLY know what you are going thru! It is really hard to deal with a sick baby and the ifs and and everything. It is a definite rickety old rollercoaster to be on. I feel ya! My little girl is having surgery AGAIN on the 6th. Yuck. But, ya do what you gotta do!
Oh good!! I'm so glad that she doesn't have to have surgery this weekend! What a scary rollercoaster to be riding. hope things are a little better now. Let us know if there is ever anything we can do to help you guys out... love ya!
You didn't tell me this. I am glad you are able to figure out what is wrong with her. Poor thing. If her you need help with Ella let me know. I don't mind watching her for ya!! Keep me posted.
Poor sweet Macy, I'm glad things are finally coming together though, how old she is and it took that long for the Dr.s to figure it out, sheesh! It's a good thing she is such a good baby! We still can't believe that she has ANY chubs on her after all she throws up, just wait until this is fixed, she'll be 'rolling' around!
I am so glad its not as serious but ya not a fun ride you guys are on..... I am glad they are figuring stuff out with little Macy though. -
